I've had 2 frustrating experiences here within the last 8 months. I spoke to Jesse about switching my home insurance from TD last May. I went in, and had to get back to him later after checking some things in my home to finalize the documents. On more than one occasion, there were mistakes on the final insurance document he sent me. I had to correct him, and when I asked for guidance on a couple things like the electricity AMPs (with photos provided), he wasn't very helpful. What really stood out to me was how many mistakes were on the final documents, despite being visible in writing on my own filled-out form and email. Had I not noticed, these mistakes would have increased my insurance premiums. Mistakes also included basic information such as my age. My most recent experience has been through email with Janet. I sent a general email to ask for guidance in switching my home insurance to another type. It took 2-3 days to get a response each time, and I just wanted a quote. After answering some initial questions, I was sent a policy document, but no quote. I asked multiple times for a quote, and it was never sent. When I asked yet again (this happened over a 2+-week period), I was told it was sent in the email with the policy document. It was not. I advised such. I was told we should have a phone call at that point. The week prior, I missed a call and received a voicemail - I was told Janet would be in the office until 9pm that night. I called back at 7:30pm to sort it out, and left a message, with no response or call back that day or any day thereafter. This has been a ridiculous and frustrating process. I have no confidence in the insurance advisors at this location based on these two experiences. The fact that I couldn't get a quote after 2+ weeks and multiple back-and-forths is astonishing to me.
