Sussex Insurance - Abbotsford

I come in trying to cancel insurance and they get told I can’t cuz need to return the plates ok fine. I then ask about why my payments seem higher then my last car then get told because I don’t have listed drivers that made it cheaper before. Ok whatever if that’s how it works that’s how it works. I’m pist off at the lady’s attitude and the way she replied to my questions. She seemed very rude and angry like just cuz I was trying to get information about my insurance. I’m constantly swapping plates and buying selling cars. This was the worst insurance place I’ve ever been to they also quoted me more on tranfer tax then a different place did. Other insurance places answered my questions and helped me resolve issues this place was rude and quoted me more on tranfer fees. Do not go here take the 5min drive to another place.

Called and asked for help with updating my address because the icbc website told me to contact a local autoplan dealer and she told me to go to the icbc website. Thanks for sending me in a circle, I called somewhere that knows what they're doing and was given the proper phone number and told where to actually go. Not sure who "helped" me but theyre the reason I will never deal with my insurance here. It was a super simple question.

Only one agent working. She was transferring ownership with new plates and it was taking a while. She never acknowledged me and there is no where to sit if you have to wait. I didn’t. I left and drove 2 minutes down the street where I was efficiently helped, as soon as I walked in the door, by an office that was adequately staffed!

I went in august 19th to pay for a payment i missed and they never called it in which meant icbc double charged my bank account and now i have to wait 3 to 4 business days to get my money back. Not happy that youre mistakes are costing me grocery money.

This place is great. Conveniently located inside the Walmart its open 7 days a week 9:00 to 9:00. I believe the only day they close is Christmas!
