Please always remember to get a competitive quotation before renewing any policy. After 35 years of blind trust, I went to market for competitive quotations. I was shocked to know that when I compared the coverage line by line, (literally for nearly three hours) I was convinced something was missing. It was not, there were inclusions that were not in my old policies. I reduced my premiums by $2800.00 annually. When I brought this to the Brokers attention literally two weeks after renewing, they did NOTHING to help with cancellation costs, so I paid the premiums for the next year and cancelled. Please put the dates in your calendar and plan sixty days ahead so you get all your new coverage in place.
