I had a highly frustrating experience with Josslin Insurance. I worked with their producer, Rob, to set up a new policy with Peel Mutual. I paid my deposit, expecting my policy to start on July 26th to align with my current policy's renewal. However, the next day, I was informed that Peel Mutual was temporarily canceling all new policies until August 1st due to high demand, which required me to cancel my existing policy immediately. Despite following Rob's instructions to cancel my current policy and sign a cancellation form, he later informed me that my premium would increase by $500 due to my licensing history. He then advised me to reinstate my old policy, which was already canceled, leaving my vehicle uninsured and me without a way to get around.Rob's oversight and lack of communication caused significant inconvenience and stress. Even more disappointing was the response from the owners. They never returned my calls or addressed my complaint. I was told they would contact Peel Mutual to see if anything could be done, but they never followed through. While Rob managed to get my new policy effective from July 1st, the whole ordeal was poorly handled, and the lack of accountability from the owners was unacceptable. I am deeply dissatisfied with the service and the lack of attention to crucial details causing a lapse on my insurance history. I would not recommend Josslin Insurance based on this experience.
