I am new to the province and new to using a broker. I was referred to Tina Brenner and was very pleased with the service I received. Tina was responsive and quick with quotes. Kevin with Ing & McKee Insurance is the best insurance broker I have ever had the pleasure to work with. When I called for a house insurance quote he was able to go through and quote me over the phone right away, no waiting for emails or callbacks, and with options a lot more affordable than other companies I’ve dealt with. He made the process super easy and explained all the coverage options in detail. We even decided to switch our auto insurance over. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone requiring house or auto insurance or simply looking for a more reasonable rate.

Crystal used to be really good but on our last interaction she definitely does not work for the customer and favors the insurance company. I had to cut my holiday short because she wanted to charge me over $500 extra dollars on a policy because my house is for sale. Or an extra premium if I have a family member stay in my home as a guest to keep it occupied so I dont have to pay a scam fee. BUT SHE considers someone who is either my family or a close friend a "tenant" and wants to charge me an even higher premium. Get this, she wants the name of my guests. Insurance company over reach much? Since when do I need to tell the first and last name of my house guests? Creepy. I have never had a claim, and i will be terminating this relationship when my policies expire. I will also be unrecommening this place and Crystal to several people i have told about the place. I am still in shock that Crystal is putting in a valient effort to ensure I spend money I dont have for nothing.

Looking for a local brokerage and Tamara was recommended. Initial conversation she was very kind and pleasant. Was told Id heat back in the afternoon. It has been 3 weeks and I have followed up however she won't return calls. If this brokerage is that busy why not just tell people they aren't taking on new clients, there's no harm in that and expectations are clear.
