I just moved to the Yukon and needed to get a new car insurance policy. When I walked in I was given a form that looked very outdated/ unprofessional and I was immediately taken back. Then I was told that it would take days to even get a call back from them. Huge disappointment. Ended up going to the HUB and they were amazing! They had a new policy approved and ready for me in 20 minutes. (And i didn’t need to fill out any forms!)

T.A. Firth & Son Limited provided excellent customer service with regards to my auto-insurance! I would highly recomend dealing with them for your auto insurance needs.

Nice people for the most part, absolutely horrendous in terms of customer service. Long time customer since my parents got me auto insurance for my first car. Flawless record until I got in a fender bender on icy winter roads (50% liability), somehow increased my premium by 300%+. But the worst part - My mother had to remove my father from her auto insurance after their ugly divorce, and they FORCED her to meet IN PERSON with my abusive father so they could sign him off of her policy.

Impossible to get a hold.of lately. Trying to change my.policy and insure a new vehicle but they're not returning calls or emails, are they still open??

I had a great experience with TA Firth years ago. However, when I recently requested to begin a new policy with them, completely different experience. I reached out to them over a month ago for an auto insurance quote. It took them over a week to develop the quote, which they sent to the wrong email address and I never received. I followed up with them and they sent it several days later. I wanted to proceed with the quote but was unable to get in touch with the agent. Called multiple times and only got voicemails and didn't return any of my calls. I emailed to set up a phone appointment to complete the application and the broker was dismissive, wouldn't commit to a time, told me to call on a day when their office was closed. More calls that they never answered. A month later and still no policy. I feel like I'm doing all the work here to give you my business and they've been impossible to get a hold of and moving at a glacial pace - it's been frustrating. I contacted Cooperators, they completed the entire applications in under two hours - they were cheaper, faster, more polite and responsive. I guess I'm done with TA Firth.
