I was quoted $900 a month for car insurance. I have a collision (which was covered) and later got caught driving without insurance. I realize my rate is going to be high but that is ridiculous. I was quoted around $500 from other insurers. I wouldn’t be writing this review if I wasn’t then told sharply: ‘Well Vincent, driving isn’t a right’ ‘But I need to drive to be able to work’ ‘I guess you’re going to have to take the bus’ I pointed out there are no buses in Georgetown (where we are both located) and the reply was ‘take a cab’ I am actually a pretty good person, I don’t deserve to be treated like that. EDIT: found insurance for $425 a month. LESS THAN HALF of this companies best price.

I have always been happy with the service I received with this company. I threw more than a few dollars their way over the years on the strength of their recommendations. I thought they were fair and as brokers considered the best insurance options. But then an insured house went on the market and was conditionally sold. The policy expired a month before closing. Go month to month was the suggestion. The broker knew that financially even this would be a significant burden but she swayed me with assurances of the minimal cost for this brief coverage. After all the house was empty. Imagine my surprise when I was confronted with additional costs because the insurer "hit me hard" with penalties for cancelling a policy in the middle of a term. In her own words she "convinced" me to accept this coverage when all I was asking was to go month to month not renew the policy. Oh and btw, I am sorry I feel this way too. Fear mongering for profit is wrong.

Armstrong has been our family broker for years. When I call, a person picks up. When I send an email, I get a fast response. We have our home and vehicles with Armstrong and I can't think of one reason why I would change. If I ever need to insure a new vehicle it is done in the hour with a digital copy sent to my email, hard copy in a week. I want information in my policy, one phone call no wait time. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Very slow service and unprofessional staff. Asked for a file review on April 1 as I was dissatisfied with the current insurer and wanted to know about options. Didn't hear back so I had to follow up Friday May 2nd (as my policy was renewing on Monday May 5). Chalked it up to one request falling through the cracks. Then asked for a quote on a different property and different vehicle on June 1. Still waiting for the quote as of June 16. Phoned to complain. Owner unavailable. Manager unavailable. Broker unavailable - evidently there is only a skeleton staff on Mondays. Not sure how this brokerage has a value-add over searching the internet.

Recently contacted the office to get a quote for my new car. Dealership was lax in providing the bill of sale so I only had 1 day to arrange insurance. Samantha Rogers was very efficient and professional to deal with. She never got annoyed at the timing of my request, made the process very easy and stressless for me, even though it was a Friday morning call. Highly recommend this office. Looking forward to many years of business with them.
