This insurance company was the worst insurance company I ever dealt with. We got our travel insurance for our Parents but upon asking for help for our parent that got hospitalized. They have worst insurance agents to speak with in dealing the claims. We communicated with them all the forms needed and updated them with our Parent health update while in the hospital but instead of giving us help they’re really incompetent in giving us right informations on our claim. Giving us more burden instead of being helpful with claimant’s family. While at the hospital agent called us saying we have reached our max of our insurance and they couldn’t help us anymore even my parent still in the hospital and we were aware that we haven’t reached it. Letting me know they will close my Mom’s claim. And the bill hasn’t been out yet. To the point I suffered anxiety and depression with the this insurance company and now still with medication because of them. Finally last month we got the claim. But the stress to the whole family was the worst part. It was just now I had chance to write a review because every time I am thinking of this insurance company it gives me anxiety attack. That’s how worst I suffered with them.

So far our experience with this insurance company( and manulife) has been incompetent. My grandmother passed away back in January after hospital visit. It’s now been July and we STILL have not received anything from the claim we submitted back in January. They either tell us we’re missing documents even though we have send them multiple times or that it’s still in process. Like what kind of business is this…six months just to process a claim? No insurance companies take this long..and today we called and they still it might still an another month. Are you kidding me??

21st century is the worst Insurnace company anyone could ever get. They’re running a SCAM…. I bought Insurnace from them in 2020 for my mom and at that time they had pathetic service and irresponsible advisors An Insurnace broker told me that 21st century has improved now in 2024 so I thought to give it a try again but they’re even worse than before. My mom was hospitalized in July and they haven’t reviewed her claim until todays date, you will never be contacted by an adjuster and when you call the claims department they’ll give you conflicting information every time. Getting insurance with them is like putting yourself through hell. I am the one calling them for my claim literally every second day but they’re not giving me any status update. Hospital is threatening to send my file to collections and despite of paying almost $3,000 a year for Both my parents policies 21st century isn’t assisting me with the claim.

I can’t tell how ignorant this company is. Now I’m reading the reviews and understand how this company mislead their clients. The whole company has a problem starting from Jeff so called the president. We got insurance that required for Super Visa through this company for my parents visiting Canada. First, I paid 2 months deposit to activate the policy. And I was paying through my credit card monthly. Every month 27th they charge my CC for the month ahead. When my parents were leaving we informed the company through the agent that my parents are leaving Canada on 30th of April. So we need to cancel the policy on 30th since they are no longer in Canada. Then we found that we need to provide the boarding passes of my parents flight to cancel the policy. But still they charged the whole 719.51 on April 27 for the upcoming month. But when we asked for the refund after submitting the boarding passes, they refuse to refund it due to no refund policy. This issue went up to Jeff the president but still he pretends that he does not understand the real issue. And gave laundry list of points and explanations but no refund. Since I allowed to pull money from a Credit Card, it does not allow to charge for the service that I did not received. I can’t believe this company still in business with all these scams. Luckily I did not have any claims to deal with. Stay away.(Bad reviews will be removed by the owner)

i have a good decision not to renew again on this insurance. Worst service. if you buy insurance in just snap they will process. But if it about the claim they will give you lots of trouble and headache to pay what you need to reimburse . I submit the claim from march 8 until now they said june. I received a multiple call and letter from the hospital for the bills. and almost every two weeks i called insurance they said i need that i need this i need to wait blah blah blah blah and the thing is they always told me they going to give me a call when its incomplete or if there’s something they need but nothing!!! I am the one who effort to give a call. imagined i get another insurance claim from another company it finished first then this 21st travel insurance. not reliable i will not recommend it.
